From day 1 Penny has been an absolute joy! I’ve heard stories from friends, family, and strangers on the internet about how difficult a new puppy can be, and as first time dog owners I thought we’d be in for a rough ride. It ended up being quite the opposite! She came home with us already potty trained and in the 6 months we’ve had her she has only had 2 or 3 accidents in the house. Since the first night, she has slept in her crate every night and doesn’t make a peep. She’s so loving, smart, playful, and melts hearts everywhere we go. Everyone we pass does a double take and it never gets old hearing “oh my god she’s so cute!”. Laurie Anne has followed up a few times to make sure everything is going well after the fact. This is Winnie at 10 months old - look at that smile! She is happy all the time. We love and have raised Golden Retrievers for the past 27 years but wanted a smaller, golden-type dog with less shedding. At 19 weeks, Roosters is just as sweet as can be. As I type this she just climbed up to sit in my lap and fell immediately to sleep. She’s a little ball of fluff and love and we couldn’t be any happier with her! She’s truly been such a joy. We only wish she came into our lives sooner! Every day we marvel at how quickly she learns and matures. She is totally my shadow — following me around the apartment from morning to night and jumping with absolute joy when my husband gets home from work at the end of the day. This handsome westie now weighs 12.26lbs! Westie what he weighed 3 months ago. Super healthy and so so happy. We love Charlie, he is so wonderful. He is very socialized and has many human admirers. Naya has been the perfect addition to our family. We love how much she loves snow, how playful and how cuddly she is. She is a very quick learner and has caught onto walking on the leash amazingly.
She is gentle with our two young daughters and does not nip. We love her so much! People are always amazed at her young age because she is so well behaved. Her fur has been so great to manage.
We groom her every 4 -6 weeks and our groomer says she’s the best puppy she’s ever worked with!

We are blessed and so happy with our dog, Brady. After much research we found Westie Puppy Nest and contacted LaurieAnne. We had the nicest conversation all about Laurie's dogs and puppies and her breeding philosophies. She was so kind and also very interested in our family as well. Once we decided that we were 100% ready for a puppy we let her know and we were put on a list. We were so excited and even more happy when she and I talked and decided which puppy would be best for us. She sent me a few videos and shortly after we met Laurie when she delivered the puppy close to our home. Once we met her and saw the puppy we knew how much she loved her dogs and what a very sweet and caring person she was. Brady has been an amazing addition to our family. He is not only adorable but so very smart. He has never had an accident in his crate and potty trained very easily. After a few weeks he slept through the night in his crate and willingly goes in a night. He is very attentive and very eager to learn. Our dog trainer told us that he has amazing eye contact and is very engaged with us. We also get stopped all the time as people can’t believe how adorable he is! I am so thankful that we found Laurie and would highly recommend her beautiful and sweet puppies.

From the day my husband and I took Shea home, we knew we made the perfect decision; getting a puppy from Westie Puppy Nest. Shea is just the best puppy in the world. Within a few days, Shea was potty trained and that’s when we knew how smart she really was. She loves to play, nap and show off her tricks. At just 6 months old, Shea can sit, stay, lay down, give paw, high five and roll over! She is super social and loves meeting new people. The minute Laurie sent us videos of all the puppies in the litter, purple girl stole our hearts. Shea has been the perfect addition to our family and we can’t thank WPN enough for such a great dog!

Getting our girl Chloe from Westie Puppy Nest was the perfect choice for our family of 4 with 2 small boys. Chloe was amazing right from day one. She blended in with us from the moment we met her. Chloe was, and is not skittish but overjoyed and affectionate towards everyone she meets. Potty training was completely incredible. I can honestly say that my family really didn't train her. She was fully potty trained at 8 weeks old. Put her in the grass and she immediately knew what to do! Chloe is an extremely smart dog but also so beautiful. She is a living teddy bear!! WPN does exactly what it promises to do with their puppies. Laurie delivered a happy, intelligent, social, loving ball of fluff that has become our constant companion. We took Chloe to puppy school and the trainer told me she has never seen a more docile, calm, and attentive west highlander terrier puppy. She was amazed. The trainer informed me that most westies are on the happy but hyper side. NOT WPN dogs! They obviously come from selected characteristics of generations of great genes! It was a true pleasure to work with Laurieanne and couldn't be happier with our beautiful Chloe!!

I cannot imagine life without my little Harlow. She is playful, intelligent, silly, and looks like a real-life teddy bear. Whenever we go on walk, we are always stopped by people asking what type of dog she is as she is so cute and well-behaved. Ever since coming home, she has impressed us with how smart she is, graduating at the top of her class in the AKC Star Puppy Socialization Program and hoping to become therapy dog certified so we can bring smiles to patients. My husband and I recently lost our beloved dog almost three month ago. We knew that we would be getting a new puppy soon. My daughter found out about Westie Puppy Nest and we found that this would be a great fit for us. Anne spent time matching us up to that dog that would work with our lifestyle. My daughter and I made the trip to pick up our puppy. Annne was so organized and we were so impressed. She covered all the important topics and even demonstrated nail cutting and eyebrow trimming. We were each given a gift bag and most importantly a folder with all the important data. It has been very evident to my husband and I the amount of work Anne and her family have put into raising these puppies. In July our family lost our older much loved dog leaving our other cherished dog lonely and lost - thus our search for a new family member began. Our daughter owns a “dog bakery” and see many many dogs on a daily basis so I asked her in her opinion what breed we should consider.....it took her less than 5 seconds to to answering resoundingly “A WPN”. So our journey began. And what a fantastic journey it was working with Laurie to match us with our perfect puppy Chloe. We were in Ireland when we received a text from Laurie that our Chloe was born and even better she was born the day before my birthday! A few weeks after our return we went to puppy pick-up day and it was LOVE at first sight when Laurie handed Chloe to us. Chloe is 6 months old now and is a beautiful, smart, amazing well adjusted puppy, much adored puppy. She was completely potty trained with the first week we had her - I owe this to the nurturing that Laurie gave (gives) to all her puppies who are raised in an immaculate beautiful family home. Chloe loves people and any social setting. She is as comfortable around kids and adults as she is around per dog peers. Again a tribute to the love and care they received from Laurie and her family. All puppies go home with a packet chocked full of information to make the puppy’s transition from their litter to their “new” family seamless. Our family is truly blessed to have Chloe a part of our family. I would not hesitate to refer Laurie and Westie Puppy Nest to any one who wants a well bred well rounded puppy.

What could be better than brother and sister? Nothing beats these two - that's for sure! Our family has the tremendous pleasure of having sibling WPN. Myles and Gracie are 3 1/2 year old Lexi litter mates and they are a delightful pair. Besides their handsome and beautiful looks respectively, they enjoy doing everything our family does. We are an active family and these two are always ready for adventure. They make us laugh when there is a slight hint that someone in our family is going on a trip because they immediately hop into the car. Myles and Gracie are convinced that an adventure lies ahead and they don't want to miss out. Whether we are headed for a short trip to the local park for a run or packing for a week away in the mountains, these two want to be in on the action. They love being with us and being with each other. They play well together and it is also great to experience them growing up together. We love having sibling WPN as part of our family!

After doing a ton of research, I was torn between various breeders in Ontario. Once we got Felix, he was super friendly, almost fully housebroken and a pleasure. Now, a year later, I’m in love with his personality and his energy. He is a pleasure, and has made his presence known and is a total joy. I would highly recommend Westie Puppy Nest. The box nose is a feature that is super distinctive, and makes him stick out from other puppy. Overall love, love, love!

I’m Nala. I’m 4 ½ years old. Mommy says Laurie did a great job with me. I’m very healthy, mom says II trained very quickly, I am very friendly (I became a therapy dog- and go into a school where 1st graders read to me and into a nursing home where everyone loves me). I like to fetch the paper outside and my favorite game is catching and fetching a ball. I’m very cute (that’s what everyone says). My hair looks nice and I never shed!

Cooper is an amazing dog and absolutely all that we hoped he would be. When we were in the process of choosing a puppy, I remember you saying one of the great things about this breed is that they will enjoy doing whatever it is you are doing. That has been so true. No matter what we are doing…If we are at a family gathering, watching a field hockey or baseball game, out on the boat, outside playing, whatever it is, he loves it. If we are watching a movie, he is perfectly content to cuddle up with us, preferably with his head on someone’s shoulder. He is so friendly to all people and dogs. I can’t begin to tell you how many times people have stopped us to compliment Cooper’s appearance, to ask what kind of dog he is and to ask where we got him. It honestly happens at least once every time we are out in public with him. It confirms that you truly breed beautiful dogs. I have been most impressed with how easy going he is and how much he enjoys cuddling with people. He allows us, the vet, and the groomer to really do anything to him. The time and effort your family puts in handling and cuddling your puppies creates a kind and loving dog.

We knew from the moment we received our first phone call that Laurie was very knowledgeable and experienced. She took the time to answer every question we had. Laurie provided us with pictures and videos of the litter as the puppies grew. When puppy pickup day came, we could tell that she poured all that experience into each puppy in the litter.
